*Welcome to my blog.*

Hi, thanks for visiting.
Here is another blog among many blogs that are about bakings.
I'm a hobbyist. And I bake to eat. I love cookies & you can definitely call me a cookie monster.

I bake from recipes I searched online. There ain't much in my collection, however, the recipes I collected are very simple, with success confirmed!
As I am new to baking, & if you are too, this is the correct place for you to look at the simple & delicious recipes.

Pandan Cake With Gula Melaka Frosting.

Pandan cake is a favourite sponge cake of Southeast Asians. The cake is preferably made of chiffon recipe using pandan juice and coconut milk as it's main ingredients.  I'm saying so as a pandan cake with no coconut milk lacks of flavor and fragrance. I tried making one using pandan juice and milk, the outcome isn't so welcoming & disappointing 😔, that I never bake my pandan cake without coconut milk.

Pandan cake with pandan swiss meringue buttercream (smbc) & gula melaka syrup.

This whole cake is filled with too much smbc. And I improved my frosting on my next cake.

A slice of the pandan cake with gula melaka smbc.

My family thought it was store bought. 😁

Baked a whole pandan cake, & divide into half.

This time, I used whipping cream as frosting & drizzled gula melaka syrup.

Yes, this cake was made for Mothers' day.

Yumz 😋. My mom enjoyed it.

I won't be providing any recipe for the cake as each of you has your own favourite recipe (if you are able to bake a beautiful chiffon cake without the tube tin). If this is your first time making a pandan cake, do watch YouTube channel.

I used chiffon cake recipe, thus if you failed to bake a successful chiffon cake without the use of tube tin... I suggest keep on practising getting the right stiff peak of your meringue, and fold the yolk and meringue batter as gently as possible. The well combined batter consistency must be thick.  Do google or watch YouTube on how to bake a chiffon cake. Make sure you know how the consistency of the resulting batter is like. I hope these will help you if you are unable to bake a nice chiffon cake.

Remarks: I don't provide recipe as all recipes are good. Problems lie with individual not following the instructions & taste preference.
