*Welcome to my blog.*

Hi, thanks for visiting.
Here is another blog among many blogs that are about bakings.
I'm a hobbyist. And I bake to eat. I love cookies & you can definitely call me a cookie monster.

I bake from recipes I searched online. There ain't much in my collection, however, the recipes I collected are very simple, with success confirmed!
As I am new to baking, & if you are too, this is the correct place for you to look at the simple & delicious recipes.

    Snowskin mooncake.

Wow, finally I had the time to make the snowskin mooncake.
I try making it earlier. I am always that kiasu, I know.😁

And, this recipe I found was so simple.
    Here's the link:
    Foodie Baker's Matcha Snowskin Mooncakes.

I used shortening, but I am sure you can use vegetable oil.

This mooncake is matcha snowskin with matcha green bean filling.

I remade again using red tea snowskin and more intense matcha filling. I added additional matcha powder as the regular paste is too sweet.

Some tips for the snowskin preparation:
    1. Wear vinyl gloves so it will be less messy.
    2. Dusting with gou fen is better than matcha powder.
    3. Hence, dust off the excess gou fen if needed.
I'm using a 50g mould. I will use a 75g ones for durian. 😁 maybe also made my own green beans paste.

Hope everyone can enjoy your wonderful snowskin mooncake this mid autumn festival. 😉
